1Password subscribers can install the extension for free and use it to authenticate on websites. It will autofill usernames and passwords, two-factor authentication codes, credit card details, and other information. The 1Password extension also allows users to save new logins and generate strong passwords during sign-up.
All of this functionality will be available while browsing the Internet using Comet, writes BGR.
1Password emphasizes that their “approach to AI security is built on privacy, transparency, and trust.” The company said that “secrets stay secrets with end-to-end encryption and a zero-knowledge architecture, and users retain full control over what data the AI can access, when, and why.”
