25 days instead of 1.5 years: the government adopted a resolution that accelerates the construction of base stations

The government has adopted a resolution that significantly shortens the time for obtaining permits for the placement of base stations by mobile operators during martial law.
According to the Ministry of Digital Affairs, the resolution adopted by the government provides for:
15 working days instead of 6 months to obtain a permit to install base stations on state and municipal property, for example, on the roof of a house;
25 working days instead of 1.5 years — on state and municipal land plots.
After receiving permission, operators can immediately place base stations. Preparation for the auction, development of land management projects and other steps to obtain a property or land lease must be completed by operators during martial law and for 2 years after.
"One of our priority goals by 2030 is to provide 98% of the population with high-quality mobile communications in every corner of the country. The adoption of the resolution is another important step so that every Ukrainian is always connected. In the city, village or on the road," the ministry noted.
