CyberBionic Systematics is providing free training on the Digital Office course as part of the Red Cross’s Reboot: Expanding Employment Opportunities program.
The program is designed for beginners and lasts two months — completely online, with more than 60% of the time devoted to practical work.
Students will learn to create documents in Microsoft Word, analyze data and reports in Excel, prepare presentations in PowerPoint, work in a team through Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, and Google Drive, and use artificial intelligence tools — ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, and Google Gemini — to automate office tasks. The training is built on real business cases and concludes with a comprehensive practical project.
The course includes tutoring, homework review, career support, and a certificate upon completion. Among the skills participants will gain are working with the file system, formatting business documents, using formulas and pivot tables in Excel, preparing corporate presentations, managing access to shared documents, and basic digital security principles.
Participation is free of charge for representatives of vulnerable categories of the population who actually live in the Transcarpathian, Volyn, Rivne, Zhytomyr, Kyiv (except Kyiv), Chernihiv, Chernivtsi, Sumy, Kharkiv, Kherson, Zaporizhzhia and Donetsk (in the territory controlled by the Government of Ukraine) regions. The organizers separately invite veterans — training can be a step towards returning to civilian life and finding a job.
«A cool opportunity for people 50+ who didn’t take computer science in school,» the organizers note.
The training is completely distance learning, so you can join from any location that meets the program’s requirements. The recruitment process continues until the groups are filled — to become a program participant, read the terms of participation and fill out the registration form.
