Over the past three years, Brave1 has allocated UAH 6.2 billion to the development of Ukrainian defense technologies. Under the main program alone, teams received 977 grants totaling UAH 2.3 billion. Separate funding was provided to developers of missiles, AI, interceptor drones, and radars.
In particular, the cluster has already issued 20 special grants totaling UAH 145 million for developments in the areas of "Missiles" and "Artificial Intelligence". Also, 11 Ukrainian teams received UAH 81 million in 2026 within the framework of the international program EU4UA Defence Tech. The funding went to the development of high-speed interceptor drones and radars.
The main grant program provides funding of UAH 500,000, UAH 2 million, UAH 4 million, or UAH 8 million, depending on the level of readiness of the technology. There is also a special grant program, within which promising technologies can receive up to UAH 8 million regardless of the level of readiness.
Earlier, dev.ua wrote that Brave1 has identified new grant priorities for 2026. Among them are missile technologies, Ukrainian radars, robotic systems, and new air defense systems. Separately, the cluster launched a competition for the development of humanoid robots for the needs of the Defense Forces.
