Most clients of Ukrainian financial institutions are abandoning paper documents when opening accounts, preferring the “Diya” application. Digital verification has reduced onboarding time to a record 93 seconds.
This was announced by the acting Minister of Digital Transformation, Oleksandr Bornyakov, referring to the results of a survey of 24 partner banks that have already integrated the service.
According to the ministry's statistics, about 70% of users choose verification through "Diya" when registering with a bank. At the same time, a number of financial institutions demonstrate even higher indicators. In particular, in "Radabank", "MTB Bank" and BISBANK the share of such clients reaches 100%. In the bank "Vlasnyi rukun" this indicator is 90%, in "Asvio Bank" - 86%, and in FUIB - 80%.
“Paper photocopies and manual data entry are finally a thing of the past.” The record for customer onboarding speed is now only 93 seconds,” said Oleksandr Bornyakov.
