As PlantIn explains, an AI-generalist is a specialist in the team who is responsible for implementing AI into workflows: he finds tasks for automation and implements them without involving developers.

The goal of the innovations is to accelerate the achievement of business results and give teams more autonomy in working with the product, the company says.
"The initiative has three key areas: analyzing the potential of AI in each team, reducing the amount of manual work, and lowering the barrier to entry. AI allows you to implement ideas faster even without deep expertise in certain areas. In 2026, there will be almost no technological limitations left for this. The main thing is to learn how to use these tools effectively. That is why we have singled out the role of an AI generalist to show by example that everyone can influence the product," notes Mykhailo Hrynets, co-CEO of PlantIn.
PlantIn plans to scale the initiative to all divisions of the company and create a systemic culture of using AI, where each team will have its own expertise in automation.
