«One of our projects last year had a direct economic effect of over $1 million. Another accumulated the effect over three years. Therefore, today we can already say that the impact of AI in a large company can be measured in millions of dollars per year,» Goshovsky noted in an interview with Forbes Ukraine.
According to him, about half of MHP’s pilot AI projects do not achieve optimal financial results because the technology is not yet developed enough, or the cost of development and operating costs is not covered by the economic effect.
«The best way is to start with data and people. At MHP, we conducted a survey among employees: who is already using AI tools, which ones and for what tasks. It turned out that many people use them even in everyday life, and then transfer these practices to work. After that, you can create a community of people you can rely on,» Taras Goshovsky said about the beginning of AI projects.
He added that he is not afraid of fantastic scenarios for the development of AI, such as a machine uprising, but pointed out that «we need to be afraid in a business sense» so that competitors do not use this technology better.
Recall that in 2023, MHP launched an artificial intelligence-based culinary chatbot, Kulinator. It helped decide what to cook for dinner and gave tips on how to diversify the diet.
