Ukrainian technology company Ajax Systems has announced the launch of the second season of its educational initiative, which will fund a trip for talented students to the Consumer Electronics Show (CES 2027). This year, the scale of the project has been doubled — 60 future Ukrainian engineers will travel to the United States in January next year.
This was reported to dev.ua by Ajax Systems.
Acceptance of applications for participation in the competitive selection will start on June 1 and will last until August 30, 2026 inclusive. The organizers fully cover all related expenses of the participants: airfare, accommodation, meals, as well as visa processing.
Full-time students from Ukrainian universities of any form of ownership are invited to participate. Candidates must be pursuing education in technical or natural sciences (bachelor’s or master’s level), be over 18 years old, have English at a level not lower than B1, and have a valid passport. An important condition is to be in Ukraine at the time of application and to commit to returning to the country after the trip.
The selection process will take place in several stages. First, a ranking list will be formed based on students' academic performance, their participation in extracurricular technical projects, and a motivation letter. The candidates with the best results will undergo personal interviews, after which 60 finalists will be selected.
The project is implemented within the framework of the Ajax Next program, which is aimed at supporting engineering education in Ukraine. Last year, the first group of Ukrainian students already visited CES, where they got acquainted with solutions from industry leaders such as NVIDIA, AMD and Siemens, and also presented their own developments in the Ukrainian pavilion.
Last year, the company received over 600 applications from students, most often from future specialists in computer science, software engineering, cybersecurity and information protection, computer engineering, aviation and rocket and space technology. The final list included 30 students from different regions and higher education institutions of Ukraine.
