Alta Ares, with offices in Paris, New York, Athens, and Kyiv, has joined the Technological Forces of Ukraine community. It will produce interceptor drones in collaboration with Ukrainian developers.
This is reported by the publication «Militarnyi» with reference to Indigo Publications.
«For several months, Alta Ares has been leading a NATO-supported project aimed at reforming the defense of Europe’s eastern flank. This multi-layered defense system based on artificial intelligence, created on the basis of real combat experience on the front lines in Ukraine, was developed in France and Europe. It solves one of the most pressing security problems of today: protecting our airspace from unauthorized intrusions», — the company said.
In the summer of 2025, Alta Ares opened a representative office in Ukraine to deepen cooperation with Ukrainian UAV developers.
One of the company’s core products is Pixel-Lock, an AI-based targeting software that detects, tracks, and intercepts aerial targets, including drones, aircraft, and bombs. The system is already being tested by Ukrainian units to combat FPV drones and KABs.
Serial production of Alta Ares interceptor drones takes place in France, but the company plans to localize the production of some components in Ukraine.
It was previously reported that the American drone manufacturer AIRO Group Holdings and the Ukrainian manufacturer Bullet (Degree-Trans LLC) plan to create a joint venture to produce high-speed drone interceptors for the armies of the US, NATO countries, and Ukraine.
«It looks like a cruise missile.» The Air Force assured that the KAB jets with which the Russians began to strike Ukraine are skillfully intercepting air defense systems
