Due to constant Russian attacks on Nova Poshta’s logistics facilities, the operator decided to switch to a decentralized fulfillment model.
This was announced by the company’s CEO Yevhen Tafiychuk on his Facebook page.
He recalled that on the night of August 28, the enemy destroyed the fulfillment center and sorting depot of Nova Poshta in Svyatopetrovske.
«This is not the first blow to infrastructure for Nova Poshta. But this time we lost our state-of-the-art robotic fulfillment center — the result of years of work, investments, and the best engineering solutions,» he stated.
According to the CEO of Nova Poshta, in order to make the storage of goods more resistant to Russian threats, the company is deploying a decentralized fulfillment model. Thus, Nova Poshta’s freight and postal branches across the country are becoming local warehouses.
In turn, the range of customers is distributed between different locations, which will reduce dependence on one large center and help businesses continue to operate even in the event of new strikes.
«The destruction of one center will not stop our fulfillment and will not leave partners alone with the consequences of Russian attacks,» emphasized Yevhen Tafiychuk.
