YouTube is expanding its AI-powered auto-dubbing tools. Creators and viewers can now watch videos in 27 languages, including Ukrainian.
YouTube said the updated system uses machine learning models to generate emotional voiceovers that closely match the pace and rhythm of the original speech, and — where possible — adjusts the audio to the movements of the lips in the frame.
This feature is enabled by default for all eligible creators. If it's not enabled, go to Advanced Settings and click Enable to get early access. Dubbing settings are managed exclusively through the desktop version of YouTube Studio.
YouTube is gradually expanding support for new languages, so some channels may get access to them earlier. In YouTube Studio, you may come across languages with the status "experimental". This means that the feature is still being tested. You can see the full list of available tracks for a particular video in the "Languages" section. The publication of such translations will depend on your general settings.

Auto-dubbed audio is completely optional: it can be turned off at any time in favor of the original track.
So, what was previously only available to top bloggers like MrBeast is now becoming the standard for every channel.
