Projector Foundation has opened a call for applications for free IT courses for women. What are the conditions?

The recruitment is taking place under the program «Training in Creative and Technical Professions for Women», which is implemented as part of the International Trade Center project «Enhancing the Economic Resilience of War-Affected Communities», which is funded by the Government of Japan.

Women aged 18 and over who: are eligible to participate in the training.

• live in frontline or deoccupied territories;
• live in villages or towns of Ukraine;
• are internally displaced persons in the territory of Ukraine;
• are partners of military personnel.

«Education will allow women to acquire new professional skills, create a professional portfolio, and receive support in the form of mentoring sessions and additional workshops. We believe that every Ukrainian woman has the right to realize herself professionally», — the Projector Foundation noted.

The 3-month training will begin in June-July in the following areas:

• Graphic Design Beginning starts on June 24. Participants will learn how to work with font, color, shape, layouts, and grids. We will acquire basic software skills and apply knowledge in practice.
• Copywriting Beginning starts on June 24. Participants will master the skills of writing lively, strong texts and various writing formats: from advertising to fiction books, and will also learn about basic terms, styles, plots, and secrets of storytelling.
• IT Project Management starts on June 26. Participants will learn how to create a project plan, monitor its implementation, interact with stakeholders, work with various frameworks, and master the budgetary aspects of project management.
• Web Design Beginning starts on June 30. Participants will learn what web design is, and in the finale, they will create their first landing pages.

The deadline for submitting applications is June 9. The Projector Foundation reminds that only new participants can participate in the program.
