51% of respondents noted that they did not experience any changes in the quality of mobile communication during power outages, and only 37% of users noted an improvement in this service. 9% reported a deterioration in general.
Such data were published in the report «Mobile Communications and the Internet in Ukraine» based on the results of an all-Ukrainian sociological survey conducted this year at the request of the Ministry of Digital Transformation.
Also, most users give an average rating of the quality of mobile communication and the Internet while traveling within the region or country (the average rating is 3 points on a 5-point scale). As noted in the study, the shares of satisfied and dissatisfied users are the same — 26%, and another 48% rated the quality as «satisfactory.»

According to respondents, the most common difficulties on the road arise when using such services as: calls (33%), watching videos (31%), online calls in messengers (31%), messengers and mail (23%), and video conferencing (15%).
It is interesting that younger respondents were more likely to report difficulties using services while traveling due to poor internet quality.
It is important to note that the quality of mobile communication is assessed significantly differently by residents of cities and villages: in cities, the level of satisfaction with quality is 60%, and in villages — 49%. The share of dissatisfied people in villages is 16%, while in cities — only 9%.
«The smaller the settlement, the worse its residents rate the quality of communication,» the study concludes.
Overall, respondents rated the quality of mobile communications in Ukraine as «good,» with an average score of 3.6 on a five-point scale (where 1 is «very bad» and 5 is «excellent»). More than half of users (57%) are satisfied with the quality of communication, 32% rated it «satisfactory,» while 11% expressed dissatisfaction.
The survey data also showed that 60% of respondents use one SIM card, 36% use two, and only 3% use three. 1% of Ukrainians use four or more SIM cards. Statistics show that people of working age mostly have multiple cards.
