Ukrainian technology company BlueBird Tech has released a new version of its drone detector called Chuyka 3 plus. The main update to the device is an expansion of the mid-range scanning range: it now covers frequencies from 2870 to 4500 MHz, allowing it to detect a wider range of analog signals from enemy FPV drones.

As reported by BlueBird, "Chuyka 3 plus" is an improved version of the "Chuyka 3.0" model. The detector operates in three frequency ranges: 900–2200 MHz, 2870–4500 MHz and 4860–6060 MHz. The full scanning cycle takes from 4 to 8 seconds, after which the device notifies of the presence of a threat using sound and light signals.

“We have expanded the frequency range so that military and civilian personnel can detect more signals from FPV drones that the enemy is currently using. The more threats we can detect in time, the better people understand the situation around them and have more opportunities to protect themselves from Russian attacks,” BlueBird Tech engineers noted.

As in the previous version, information about detected signals is displayed on a small screen, while on the large display you can view the captured video signal directly from the FPV drone camera. In addition, the design provides the ability to output the image to external monitors via a separate video output.

The detection range of "Chuyka 3 plus" is up to 4 km, depending on the conditions and the antennas used. The detector weighs 650 g, is made of PETG plastic with an IP54 protection rating and is equipped with a 4500 mAh battery, which provides up to 6 hours of battery life. The device is already available for order on the manufacturer’s official website.

Previously, BlueBird Tech announced the launch of a professional diagnostics and repair service for Starlink satellite terminals. The service is focused on restoring equipment after field work, which allows you to avoid the cost of purchasing new devices.
