Bolt launches Women for Women service in six new cities in Ukraine

The category was first launched in Kyiv as a pilot initiative. Over the course of several months, the company closely monitored user experience, collected feedback, and worked to improve processes. Women for Women will launch in six more cities in Ukraine: Chernihiv, Odesa, Lviv, Uzhhorod, Mukachevo, and Rivne.
“We are glad that the Women for Women initiative has found a positive response in Kyiv, and this has inspired us to scale the project further. This category is not about restrictions, but about creating an additional option for women that meets their expectations for safety and comfort. We are gradually expanding the category, focusing on real needs, local context, and community readiness. Our goal is to create more sensitive and inclusive mobility, where everyone will feel confident and comfortable,” said Yulia Malich, Head of Public Policy at Bolt.
For the safety of Women for Women users, Bolt has introduced an additional stage of passenger screening:
