The future format and fate of the Brave1 defense cluster have not yet been determined. The future format and fate of the Brave1 defense cluster have not yet been determined. Oleksandr Bornyakov, the new head of the Brave1 Supervisory Board, said that the new heads of the Ministry of Digital Transformation and the Ministry of Defense will need to agree on how Brave1 will continue to operate.
«There are new leaders in the Ministry of Digital Affairs and the Ministry of Defense. They have to agree among themselves what they will do next with Brave1 and make a decision,» Bornyakov said in an interview with Forbes Ukraine.
Earlier, Brave1 CEO Andriy Hrytsenyuk stated that the Ministry of Digital Affairs is ready to transfer the Brave1 defense cluster to the Ministry of Defense.
But on July 14, the government resigned, so Mykhailo Fedorov and Bornyakov were dismissed from the positions of Minister of Defense and Minister of Digital Transformation. Oksana Ferchuk became the next head of the Ministry of Digital Affairs. And Yevheniy Khmara was assigned the temporary duties of Minister of Defense.
Despite the uncertainty over future subordination, Brave1 continues to operate. In particular, in late July, the cluster announced the Unite — Brave NATO grant competition, and grant programs continue to operate on its platform.
