The British-Ukrainian company Trypillian announced the launch of two new combat drones, the VORON-10 and BOMBER-15.
According to Military, the company announced the launch through its press service and described the drones as a response to the realities of modern warfare: the dense use of jamming equipment, work in high-risk areas, and the need to replace key components without lengthy repairs in the rear. Trypillian also claims to combine solutions tested on the front with Western production quality standards. The manufacturer emphasizes that both platforms were created for conditions where communications are constantly being jammed, and equipment has to be quickly restored right in the unit.
VORON-10 in Trypillian is called a tactical strike quadcopter for hitting targets at tactical depth. The declared effective radius is 20-25 km. The payload, according to the manufacturer’s specifications, is 1.5-3 kg. The drone is positioned as a tool against armored vehicles, manpower and enemy jamming equipment. Particular emphasis was placed on the modular design so that damaged elements could be quickly replaced on site, as well as on a stable communication channel under active suppression.
BOMBER-15 is designed for pinpoint strikes on targets in the near rear. Trypillian claims that the device maintains controllability throughout the flight distance, and the range of the attack can reach up to 65 km depending on the power configuration. The payload is claimed to be up to 6 kg. The design provides for a quick change of the warhead and the ability to add equipment for the task, such as a communication repeater or night vision.
Mass jamming and high intensity of use have made it critical for units not only the range and weight of the ammunition, but also whether the drone can be quickly returned to service after damage. That is why manufacturers are increasingly building into the design quick replacement of components and the ability to adjust the platform to a specific mission.
