To use the calculator, the user enters how much money they have for a down payment and how much they are willing to pay each month. The service then estimates the maximum value of a car that fits these parameters.
When calculating, CarBudget also takes into account additional costs: Pension Fund fee, first car registration, CTPV, estimated CASCO cost, and bank fees. The money remaining after these payments is counted by the system as the actual down payment. For example, a user can indicate that they have UAH 350,000 and are ready to pay UAH 30,000 per month. The algorithm will first deduct the costs of registration and insurance, and only then determine what value of the car the remaining money will be enough for.
The service compares the terms of credit and leasing programs of PrivatBank, Oschadbank, and Credit Agricole. The developers also note that they collect information about cars from open sites, in particular from Auto.RIA and InfoCar.
CarBudget also has a separate section for used car sellers. The seller can add cars manually via a Telegram bot. The bot will then ask you to specify the make, year of manufacture and price of the car, as well as upload photos. After that, the ad will automatically appear on the platform.
