BlueBird Tech has released a new detector "Chuyka 4.5.0". It operates in a wider frequency range and can transmit video to external screens

Ukrainian company BlueBird Tech has introduced a new drone detector, Chuyka 4.5.0. It has a wider frequency range so that the military can detect more signals from enemy drones. In addition, the video transmitted by the enemy drone can now be displayed on a large screen and you can see exactly what its camera is shooting.
This was reported by the BlueBird Tech press service.
The company explains that the Russian military is constantly using new frequencies to transmit video from drones, which can cause detectors that previously helped detect threats to gradually lose their effectiveness.
So the developers added another frequency range to the new “Chuyka” — from 6.05 to 8.8 GHz. In general, the device works in four bands and checks them simultaneously in about 4–8 seconds. If the detector finds a signal, it warns the military with a sound and a light indicator. And if it manages to intercept analog video, it immediately shows the image from the drone’s camera on its own display.
In addition, this video can now be displayed on an external monitor or TV. Therefore, several soldiers at the headquarters or command post will be able to simultaneously see what the enemy drone sees.
According to the manufacturer, Chuyka 4.5.0 can detect signals at a distance of up to 4 km. However, it all depends on the conditions and signal strength. The device weighs a little less than a kilogram and is protected from dust and water. It is attached to equipment. One charge is enough for a maximum of 4.5 hours of operation, but if necessary, the detector can be powered from an external source.
