Anthropic launches Claude Academy with hundreds of AI lessons. What do they teach?
Anthropic has launched Claude Academy, a free educational site for those who want to better understand Claude and AI in general. It offers everything from short five-minute explanations about hallucinations or chatbot "ingratiation" to multi-hour courses on Claude Code, APIs, agents, and MCPs.
Anthropic has launched Claude Academy, a free educational site for those who want to better understand Claude and AI in general. It offers everything from short five-minute explanations about hallucinations or chatbot "ingratiation" to multi-hour courses on Claude Code, APIs, agents, and MCPs.
For those who are just getting started with the chatbot, there is Claude 101 — 13 lessons lasting about 2.5 hours. It explains how to communicate with Claude, write prompts, work with projects, artifacts, skills, and connected services.
And for developers, there are much more serious options. The Building with the Claude API course is designed for about nine hours and contains 67 lessons and eight tests. It already teaches prompting, tool use, RAG, AI agents, MCP and approaches to launching such systems in production.
There is also training for working with Claude Code, Claude Cowork, Claude Tag, and Claude Platform, as well as courses on working with Anthropic models through Amazon Bedrock and Google Vertex AI.

There’s also an AI Fluency section, where Anthropic explains what’s going on “under the hood” when a human writes to a chatbot. For example, why models hallucinate, where bias and sycophancy come from—the tendency for an AI to be too eager to agree with a user or conform to their expectations instead of sticking closer to the truth. There are also lessons on tokens, the context window, and what information an AI actually “knows” about its user.
The basic AI Fluency course is built around four skills: Delegation, Description, Discernment, and Diligence — that is, what to entrust to AI, how to explain tasks to it, how to evaluate the result, and how to use AI assistants responsibly.

Additionally, Anthropic has released the Claude Academy Skill. It can be installed in Claude, after which the assistant itself will be able to recommend Academy learning materials based on what the user is working on.
OpenAI also has a similar educational platform. Previously, dev.ua reported on OpenAI Academy with courses on ChatGPT, prompting, Deep Research, and other company tools.
