«I would say that this is the brain for autonomous systems, such as drones and turrets. It helps to conduct high-performance computing missions,» the startup’s co-founder noted in a comment to dev.ua during IT Arena 2025.
According to the co-founder of DronemateAI, an important characteristic of the product is the presence of a Trusted Platform Model.
«This is a Secure Boot that protects against cloning, or protects against the fact that, for example, if a drone crashes, it will be hacked and all the information will go to the enemy,» she explained.
A representative of DronemateAI also stated that their product is similar to the well-known Raspberry Pi, but more powerful. According to her, the startup team is now almost ready with a new, even more powerful version of its Single Board computer.
According to her, the startup team has tested the product with Ukrainian drone manufacturers, including Odd Systems and Skyfall, and is already participating in combat operations.
According to the manufacturer’s website, the advantages of the DronemateAI Single Board Computer are also the ability to work in extreme conditions (at temperatures from -40°C to +85°C), as well as easy and convenient integration.
As dev.ua recently reported, defense IT company Tekever will involve Ukrainian startups in the development of drones: at least three partnerships are planned.
