Minister of Digital Transformation Oksana Ferchuk called one of her goals in office the creation of the same innovation ecosystem for Ukrainian civilian technologies that Brave1 currently has for defense tech.
«We want to do this now, during the war, so that by the end of it we have a formed ecosystem and a sufficiently high level of development,» she commented in an interview with DOU.
In addition, it announced the appearance of a number of other digital products in the military ecosystem.
Among them is a system of psychological testing and psychological support for military personnel, as well as a system for training centers, which will allow instructors and teachers to conduct training programs, evaluate results, form characteristics after completing training, and recommend a person to the appropriate direction.
Another digital product could be related to recruiting automation.
«After June 2026, we saw that civilian interest in vacancies in the army is growing. Therefore, this process also needs automation in order to better see people’s interest, offer them relevant vacancies, and actually accompany a person to the unit and position that interests them,» Ferchuk shared her plans.
The new head of the Ministry of Digital Affairs also briefly commented on the plans of the previous leadership of the ministry to create a complete microchip production chain in Ukraine, calling it «an overly ambitious task.»
«Preliminarily, it seems to me that building a complete production chain in Ukraine is too ambitious a task. But we are not alone in the European Union, so it is quite possible to become part of this chain,» she noted, adding that before commenting on the situation in detail, she needs time to understand this issue.
Brave1 is stuck between the Ministry of Digital and the Ministry of Defense. Bornyakov says the cluster’s fate should be determined by the new ministers
