The Ministry of Defense has codified and approved for use in the Armed Forces of Ukraine drones from the Ukrainian company WinFly. It produces FPV drones of various sizes, including interceptors for enemy «wings» and aircraft-type UAVs.
The Ministry of Defense said that the WinFly complex copters are based on frames of several standard sizes. When creating them, the developers took into account the recommendations and experience of front-line UAV operators. In particular, they implemented engineering solutions to increase the safety of crews during combat operations and the resistance of drones to enemy electronic countermeasures.
«The „birds“ of the complexes are fast and maneuver well. They can hit not only field shelters and ground moving enemy targets, but also pursue and destroy enemy reconnaissance drones,» the Ministry of Defense noted.
WinFly says that their company is an association of volunteers and drone engineers who manufacture various types of drones for various tasks on behalf of the Defense Forces.
WinFly offers several variations of FPV drones:
WINFLY 7 for 14,800 UAH;
WINFLY 8 for 18,800 UAH;
WINFLY 10 for 19,800 UAH.
WinFly also supplies WINFLY 10 HUNTER — an interceptor drone that reaches a speed of 150 km/h and has a flight range of up to 18+ km. It is designed to shoot down Russian drones such as «Orlan», «Zala», «Superkam». The cost of WINFLY 10 HUNTER is 29,400 UAH.
The company is also working on a ground-based robotic platform that will help with ammunition delivery, communications, and evacuation.
