«The targeted equipment of drones with combat units depends on the application. Depending on the size of the frame, the drones can carry an explosive charge designed to destroy enemy armored vehicles, cars, and dugouts», — the Defense Ministry reported.
It is noted that the General Chereshnya complex can be deployed and prepared for operation in a matter of minutes, which is important for ensuring the safety of the crew.
These drones are produced by a team of engineers from Zaporizhia, who previously worked on the creation of the military situational awareness system Delta. Last year, it was reported that about 100 people are involved in the production of «General Chereshnya». The name of the drone is associated with the famous Zaporizhia Telegram channel «Gnyla Chereshnya».
«We already have 14 codified positions in the nomenclature. These are different types and sizes of drones, including the anti-aircraft drone „General Chereshnya AIR“, as well as ground stations. All of them have been tested and are already in service with the Defense Forces of Ukraine,» the developers reported. They added that «General Chereshnya AIR» already has 300+ downed Russian reconnaissance UAVs.
Previously, the company «General Chereshnya» said that they had joined the legal and tax space «Diia.City» and the technology business union Diia.City United.
