The former top manager of Bolt, Uklon and Liki24 has become another one of those who shined in defence-tech. What is his role in the new company?
Top manager Taras Potichnyy, known for his work at Bolt, Uklon, and Liki24, became Senior Vice President of Growth at Ukrainian deep-tech company Sine Engineering, which develops infrastructure for drone autonomy.

This is stated in the company’s press release, which Forbes refers to.
In his new position, Potichny’s tasks will be to scale the international presence and expand the team.
Among other things, he will be responsible for forming a global development strategy, building international partnerships, entering new markets, and developing an integration model of cooperation with other manufacturers.
According to Potichny, his priority will be not only interaction with technological partners, but also the search for talent for the team and strengthening the international business partnerships department.
The company associates the new appointment with the transition from rapid technological growth to systemic international scaling.
As you know, Sine Engineering develops communication, navigation and multi-drone control infrastructure for drone autonomy. In particular, Sine Engineering products allow drones to operate without GPS and in conditions of strong interference. The company also develops technologies for drone swarms.
Potichny, in turn, has over ten years of experience scaling technology companies in international markets.
As is known, during this and last year, a number of top managers of technology companies have decided to link their careers with Ukrainian defense-tech. For example, the former director of digital product development of Kyivstar, Mykhailo Nestor, joined one of the most famous Ukrainian defense startups, Swarmer, as a CRO.
Shortly before this , the decision to join defense companies was made by former MacPaw AI Director Volodymyr Kubitsky and former vice president of talent management at IT company Intellias Roman Hapachylo. Kubitsky joined the team of Yaroslav Azhnyuk’s deftech startup The Fourth Law, and Hapachylo was led to the defense startup DoD Solution, where he is a co-founder.
