Defense Minister Umerov: "Electronic referrals to the VLK will be available in "Rezerv+" in January"

«Our goal is to create a modern, transparent VLK system that minimizes corruption risks and bureaucratic obstacles. Thanks to digitalization, this process will become much more convenient for everyone,» said Defense Minister Rustem Umerov.

According to him, the Ministry of Defense continues to work on new regulations to further simplify the procedure for both those liable for military service and military personnel. In addition, the VLK will now take into account the decisions of expert teams for assessing the daily functioning of a person, which replaced the MSEK from January 1.

Earlier, Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine for Digital Development Kateryna Chernogorenko said that the function that would allow users of the «Reserve+» application to independently generate online referrals to the VLK was supposed to appear last fall. She added that the Ministry of Defense consulted with the Ministry of Health on how to implement electronic referrals to the VLK through «Reserve+» for both conscripts and servicemen.
