Shopping centers of the Epicenter chain have resumed operations after a large-scale hacker attack.
«As of Monday evening, Epicenter K managed to restore the operation of all shopping centers in the chain after a hacker attack that occurred on the night of April 28. At the same time, the targeted attack by attackers led to serious consequences for the company’s infrastructure,» the report says.
During the day, most of the retail chain’s retail outlets operated with interruptions, but now all of the company’s large shopping centers have resumed stable operation.
«Unfortunately, there are still some difficulties with the functioning of a number of small-format retail outlets. Problems with accounting registers also remain unresolved. The structure of the databases related to accounting lacks all registers and journals. As a result, it is not possible to prepare any forms of accounting and tax reporting,» the company reports.
The team of specialists at Epicenter K, as noted on the networks, continues to do everything possible to eliminate the consequences of the hacker attack and restore all the company’s services as soon as possible.
We remind you that on Monday, April 28, at 9:28 AM, the company announced on social media that Epicenter was experiencing temporary technical problems.
