ERC reported that a nighttime enemy ballistic missile strike on their office and warehouse complex caused significant damage to the buildings and inventory. Fortunately, there were no casualties, but there are injuries among employees.
This was reported by the Association of Information Technology Enterprises of Ukraine (APITU).
Emergency services are on the scene and the company is already implementing a plan to resume operations. Despite significant losses, ERC remains stable and manageable: owners, top management and staff are in full control of the situation on site or remotely and are working together on a recovery plan.
"Currently, we are all focused on resuming operations as soon as possible. We have a diversified business structure, including distribution in a group of countries, a significant amount of receivables for goods delivered to our customers, as well as paid consignments of goods in transit and other financial resources. This ensures business continuity and fulfillment of our obligations to partners," the company noted.
The ERC press service also added that the company's destroyed property and real estate are insured, and an assessment of the damage is currently underway to receive payments.
At the same time, the company is preparing evidence for lawsuits against the Russian Federation to recover compensation from its frozen assets, including in international courts.
