“So, are we going to start a startup?” Two friends jokingly created a service that saves teams from endless meetings.
After the reaction on LinkedIn, they thought about a full-fledged product
It is difficult to imagine the modern corporate world without endless online calls, which often drag on and exhaust the team. The problem of ineffective calls has become so acute that it has become the subject of countless jokes. However, sometimes an ordinary Internet meme can become the impetus for the creation of a real digital product. This is how the idea of a service for anonymous voting for the early end of rallies was born - it was created in just two days by UX/UI designer Anna Shevelova using artificial intelligence.

We've already covered the creation of this service on dev.ua. Now we've asked Hanna about new details about the project, which was born from an ordinary internet meme.
How the idea came about
It all started with a meme image about a hypothetical anonymous "end rally" button in Microsoft Teams.
It all started with a meme about an anonymous button for ending a rally early in Teams, which Stas Kirichenko sent me. I joked that after such a feature, rallies would start ending before they even started. Stas, my partner in crime in this story, said: “We need to check.”
“So, are we building a startup?” I asked.
"Yes," he replied.
Hanna, a UX/UI designer with experience in vibecoding and testing various AI tools, took on all the technical part and direct prototype development.
Her friend Stanislav Kirichenko became the ideological inspirer, motivator, and “fuel” of the startup. While Anya was doubting whether to show the development to the public, Stas was already making plans to sell the project to Microsoft and actively tagging them on social media.
From pre-production to demo
The technical implementation took place in the format of so-called vibecoding. Hanna put together the first version in just half an hour. Later, having run into the limits of the tools, she continued the work the next day, spending about 15 more minutes on the final touches. In total, it took 5–7 iterations.
To create the service, Hanna used Lovable as the main tool for generating and creating the interactive prototype itself. As well as ChatGPT, it helped to quickly form the main prompts and quickly "fix" problem areas during work.
The biggest challenge during development was finding the right balance between the logic of the real product and the demo mode. In real life, voting should only appear after a certain time after the meeting starts. However, for a demo version, such a scenario is too long - the user should see and test all the functionality in literally a minute.
Interestingly, the technical part itself was easier thanks to AI than the psychological barrier before publication. Anna was worried that the audience would perceive the project as an "AI toy", but Stanislav's support helped overcome these doubts.
What does the service offer?
This is a service for anonymous voting for early termination of an online meeting right during it. Its main function is to provide the team with a democratic, ethical and completely confidential way to say: “Maybe enough is enough?” If the majority of participants are morally exhausted and press the button, the meeting ends automatically.
The product is currently in the status of a demo prototype, which clearly demonstrates the logic of the idea, but has not yet been integrated into Teams or other corporate platforms. Full-fledged testing of the functionality has not yet been carried out.
Despite being just a concept, the LinkedIn post sparked interest and engagement. Users saw this solution as a solution to their real-life pain.
For now, the team is inspired by the community's reaction and does not rule out that this experiment will eventually grow into something much more than just a demo.
"Now this is a demo prototype that shows the very essence of the idea. At first it was just a humorous experiment, but after people's reaction, we are no longer so sure that everything will end up just a demo," noted Hanna.
