Phishing emails demanding payment of fines: cyber experts discover fake National Police website

This was reported by the Center for Countering Disinformation.
There have been cases of fraudulent mailings disguised as notifications from the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine. In the letters, the attackers report “traffic violations” and demand payment of fictitious fines. At the same time, the links take users to a fake website of the National Police, where the fraudsters try to obtain personal and banking data of citizens.

The department also reminded that fines should be checked only through official services: the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Driver's Electronic Cabinet, and the "Diya" application.
The Cyber Police has already taken measures to block a fake web resource created under the guise of the official portal of the National Police.
