Ukrainian youth are ahead of their European peers in the pace of adoption of artificial intelligence. 54% of 15-year-olds in Ukraine regularly — every week — use AI chatbots.
These data from a joint study by the Ukrainian Center of Excellence in EdTech and the Estonian government were shared by the Minister of Digital Transformation, Oksana Ferchuk, on IT Arena.
As the representative of the Ministry of Digital Affairs noted, this indicator is lower in Europe, and among Ukrainian students and university teachers, the percentage of active users of generative AI is even higher.
In this regard, the Ministry of Digital Affairs pays special attention to the implementation of AI tools in the educational process:
The educational application and portal "Mriya" already covers almost 4.7 thousand schools (over 30% of the total in the country) and has 1 million active users (students, parents, teachers).
Special programs are being prepared for universities, where students and teachers will be taught not only to use ready-made models, but also to train their own AI systems.
