The drone is equipped with a propeller developed by a Ukrainian partner, a radio control system, relay capability, i.e. data transmission function, and goggles for the pilot. The goggles have a "first-person" mode, which allows the user to observe the environment from the drone's perspective, Yle writes .
Finland has developed a charge that contains explosives and shoots steel and tungsten bullets that are capable of piercing the roof of a conventional or lightly armored vehicle from a height of several dozen meters.
In fact, the drone's charge is designed to destroy infantry. If soldiers were in an area the size of a football field, three drones with such charges would be enough to kill or injure them.
“When developing the system, the requirements of modern electronic warfare were taken into account, including the ability to withstand interference,” the Insta website says .
The Russians have learned a lot in the war against Ukraine. At some point, Russia may use what it has learned against the West. That is why the West is in a hurry to cooperate with the Ukrainians and learn from them. The Ukrainian experience is used to see how the enemy will act and from what means of production and raw materials it will be possible to manufacture weapons during the war, the Finnish publication notes.
The drone is currently available for the Ukrainian market. However, in the future it will be sold in Europe and NATO countries.
