The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine called the Fire Point FP-1 drones one of the most effective Deep Strike means
The spokesman for the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Dmitry Lykhovii, voiced the command's official position on the use of long-range unmanned aerial vehicles. He singled out Fire Point's FP-1 drones as the most effective means of striking strategic targets on Russian territory, especially refineries, and stressed the importance of ongoing cooperation between manufacturers and the military.

FP-1 — the main strike drone for Deep Strike
Dmytro Lykhovii reported that the Armed Forces of Ukraine use a wide range of long-range drones to reduce the military and economic potential of the aggressor state. According to the conclusion of the General Staff specialists, the most effective means is the Fire Point FP-1 drone.
"It is these drones that make the relatively largest contribution to the defeat and destruction of dozens of Russian oil refineries, which has become a trend in the summer and fall of 2025," Lykhovoi said.
He emphasized that the destruction of the Ryazan, Saratov, Novokuibyshev, and Volgograd refineries were the main targets that were successfully hit by this particular UAV.
Dmitry Lykhovii noted that the FP-1 is three times cheaper than the analogue of the Antonov "Lyuty" drone from the state manufacturer, which allows it to be used in much larger quantities. In addition, about half of the fire missions using the FP-1 are successful.
In August-September 2025 alone, 51% of all drones used by the Defense Forces were Fire Point drones.
