The Pulse P19 MALE (Medium Altitude Long Endurance) drone was revealed ahead of its official announcement. The device will be the largest platform in the manufacturer's lineup and will be able to not only perform long-range reconnaissance missions, but also carry weapons to engage ground targets.
The company's plans to enter the market of medium-altitude strike drones are reported by "Military" with reference to the German specialized publication Hartpunkt.
The official presentation of the Pulse P19 will take place during the international aerospace exhibition ILA Berlin 2026, which will be held in Berlin from June 10 to 14. There, the company will publicly demonstrate the capabilities of the new device for the first time.
Until now, Quantum Systems has specialized mainly in tactical reconnaissance systems, such as the Vector, Twister and Reliant drones. The appearance of the Pulse P19 marks the manufacturer's transition to the development of operational-level platforms. The company notes that the development of this project was significantly influenced by practical combat experience gained during the operation of their equipment on the front in Ukraine.
In addition to creating new aircraft, the company is focusing on software. Quantum Systems is working on unifying various unmanned systems into common control networks based on its own MOSAIC UxS ecosystem.
Background: Quantum Systems is one of the key suppliers of unmanned systems for the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Bundeswehr. Their Vector reconnaissance drones regularly enter service with the Ukrainian military as part of German aid packages. In addition, in the spring of 2024, the company officially opened its own drone production plant and R&D center in Ukraine, the capacity of which allows it to assemble up to 1,000 drones per year.
