Google provides Ukrainians with free access to AI Essentials and Prompting Essentials courses: how to register for training

5,000 Ukrainians can receive free licenses for the AI Essentials and Prompting Essentials courses on Coursera as part of Google's educational initiative.

The program is implemented through ten partner organizations. Five of them — the Ukrainian Veterans Fund, Veteran Hub, EdEra, Kyiv School of Economics (KSE), and NGO "Girls" — already participated in the first wave of the program. They are joined by five new partners — GURT Resource Center, Inscience, Kharkiv IT Cluster, Ukrainian Educational Platform, and ISAR Unity.

Registration for the training is open from today and will last until August 20. Selected participants will have the opportunity to complete the courses and receive certificates by mid-October.

How to participate?

Go to the website .
Choose an organization through which you can access training for the AI Essentials and Prompting Essentials courses.
Fill out the registration form on the organization's website. Important: You do not need to register for the AI Essentials and Prompting Essentials courses on the Coursera platform at this stage.
Wait for an email from the organization or Coursera with next steps.

Participants who have already applied in the first wave of the program can register again, but will not have priority in the selection process. Priority will be given to:

veterans, military personnel and their families;
women who seek to master modern technologies for career development.

What courses from Google can I access?

The AI Essentials course is an opportunity for anyone who wants to understand the world of artificial intelligence and learn how to apply it in their professional activities. This course will be useful for both beginners taking their first steps in this field and professionals seeking to improve their skills and obtain AI certification.

On August 26, at 5:00 PM, all interested parties will have the opportunity to hear about the basic rules of prompting to obtain the desired results in working with generative artificial intelligence and learn how the Prompting Essentials and AI Essentials courses on the Coursera platform can be useful.
