Google has created a quantum algorithm that is 13,000 times faster than the most powerful supercomputer
Google's 65-qubit Quantum AI processor managed to simulate a physical system in 2 hours, while the fastest supercomputer would take over three years to complete the task.

Google has used a new algorithm called Quantum Echoes and its quantum processor to simulate chaotic time-division information propagation in a quantum system. The company claims that the new algorithm will be able to generate unique data for use in artificial intelligence.
The Quantum Insider, citing a Nature report, reports that a supercomputer with 9,000 graphics processors would have spent about 3.2 years of continuous work on this task, while Google's quantum device managed it in two hours.
Google Quantum AI researchers said the Quantum Echoes algorithm could expand the capabilities of nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy, one of the most well-known tools in chemistry and materials science.
Previously, Google researchers, thanks to the Google Quantum AI chip, were able to realize a quantum state for the first time, which indirectly proved the existence of the multiverse.
Recall that dev.ua spoke with representatives of business and the IT industry about the new prospects opened up by Google's new chip, and also analyzed the current stage in the quantum race.
