Google is launching an updated free program, AI Academy for Educators, that will teach Ukrainian teachers how to develop personal digital assistants, automate syllabi, and develop AI-resistant tasks. The course is designed to reduce class preparation time from several hours to 15 minutes and delegate routine documentation work to neural networks.

The course is designed to reduce class preparation time from several hours to 15 minutes and delegate routine documentation work to neural networks.
This was reported by the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine. The project is being implemented with the information support of the Ministry of Digital Transformation, the «Action.Education» platform, the «Mriya» ecosystem, and the national professional development platform «Vector».
The curriculum includes 12 hands-on online training sessions with Q&A sessions, divided into three areas: preschool, secondary, and higher education. During the classes, participants will master the tools Gemini, Gemini Notebook, and Google Vids.
In particular, educators will be taught how to create universal AI assistants for their own needs — from preparing reports, schedules, and teaching aids to automatically adapting courses to different age groups. In addition, teachers will be able to develop interactive simulations, webquests, and learning platforms without programming skills.
A separate block is dedicated to preserving academic integrity and assessing knowledge in the era of artificial intelligence. Participants will be taught to test the critical thinking of pupils and students in conditions where they actively use neural networks, as well as to develop tasks that are resistant to direct AI prompts. The curriculum is based on the recommendations of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and UNESCO standards.
The training will begin on September 28, 2026 and will be held in a flexible format with access to videos and workbooks. To receive an official certificate of advanced training worth 1.5 ECTS credits from the Academy of Digital Development, it is necessary to successfully pass a final test and complete at least one practical task with personal feedback.
