This date was previously mentioned as a potential release date for GTA 6 before the game was postponed to November 19, 2026. The old date can still be seen at the end of the second trailer for the game.
Because of this, part of the community suggests that Rockstar will sooner or later have to update its marketing materials — in particular, release a new trailer with an updated release date.
