An interactive installation has been opened in Kyiv that recreates the experience of using the DOT-Chain Defence digital platform, a marketplace through which the Ukrainian military orders drones and other equipment for the front.

Visitors to the installation, implemented with the support of the National Association of the Defense Industry of Ukraine (NAUDI), can independently choose a vehicle, «place» an order, watch a video of its operation, and inspect some of the drones from the platform’s catalog. For security reasons, the exact location of the facility in the city is not disclosed.

DOT-Chain Defence works according to the logic of a classic online store, but is focused exclusively on the needs of the military. Units select the necessary equipment for specific combat missions, specify the configuration and manufacturer, and place an order in a few clicks without paper reports and multi-level approvals. According to the developers, on average, equipment from stock is delivered in 9 days, and in some cases — in 1 day.

The system’s range includes FPV drones, fiber-optic drones, bombers, interceptors, ground robotic complexes, electronic warfare equipment and ammunition. The initiative was also continued with the release of the «Independence Cards» deck with images of the most popular models of equipment from the platform. The deck can be purchased for a donation at the «Iron Store», and the funds through UNITED24 will be directed to the purchase of drones for the Defense Forces.

The DOT-Chain Defence platform was developed by the team of the State Logistics Operator (DOT). The system started as a pilot project for 12 combat units, and as of now, 500 military units use it. The catalog presents almost 1,200 assets from 300 manufacturers, and over 1.2 million units of property and equipment were delivered through DOT-Chain Defence in the first year of operation.
