In July, Google introduced a new tool called Opal for building small apps or combining existing ones. Users just need to describe what they need in natural language, and the tool will use various Google models to do this. Since November, Opal has been open to Ukrainians.
Opal is now available directly in Gemini on the web, where it can be found in the Gems manager, TechCrunch reports . The tool features a visual editor that displays the steps needed to build an app. In the editor, users can reorder and combine steps without having to write code.
Google notes that the visual editor also includes a new interface in Gemini that turns user text queries into a list of steps. This further simplifies the process of building apps and allows you to visually see the mechanics of how they work.
To access advanced settings, users can switch from Gemini to the advanced editor at opal.google.com . Created widgets can be reused.
Recall that Google also introduced Gemini 3 Flash, which is three times faster than its predecessor.
