The Ukrainian ground robotic complex "BISON-L" from the UAV TECHNOLOGY company has passed the codification procedure and approved for operation in the Security and Defense Forces of Ukraine.
"BISON-L" is a universal tracked robotic platform that can be used for cargo transportation, ammunition transportation, and evacuation of the wounded.
The platform supports the installation of various functional modules, including:
combat module with a 12.7 mm machine gun turret;
module for raising antennas and communication repeaters;
engineering barriers installation module;
remote mining module;
mobile electronic warfare (EW) platform;
trailer module for transporting additional loads.
The ground robotic complex "BISON-L" is equipped with the universal Droid Box control system from the Ukrainian defense-tech company DevDroid. Droid Box is actually the "brain" of the ground drone, providing:
platform management;
supports six types of communication;
integration and management of combat and functional modules.
"The system was created taking into account the real experience of using NRCs at the front and allows the military to work with various robotic platforms through a single control interface. This reduces operator training time, simplifies the development of new complexes, and ensures the rapid deployment of robotic capabilities in units," notes the UAV TECHNOLOGY company.
