They reported this at the request of the DOU publication. EPAM, SoftServe, and GlobalLogic have the most mobilized employees among the surveyed companies:
EPAM — 450 mobilized (5% of the staff in Ukraine) and 70 demobilized specialists.
SoftServe — 384 mobilized (6%), 87 demobilized specialists.
GlobalLogic — 322 mobilized (5.7%), 85 demobilized specialists.
Ajax Systems — 100 mobilized, the number of demobilized specialists is not specified.
DXC Luxoft — 160 mobilized (6%), 35 demobilized specialists.
ZONE3000 — 50 mobilized (2%), 6 demobilized specialists.
Intellias — 93 mobilized (5%), 23 demobilized specialists.
Ciklum — 91 mobilized (4.4%), 13 demobilized specialists.
DataArt — 83 mobilized (3.3%), the number of demobilized specialists is not specified.
ELEKS — 67 mobilized (5.2%), 16 demobilized specialists.
«Our specialists serve in various positions — from combat medics to UAV operators. Some of our colleagues have joined the IT departments of their units,» EPAM Ukraine noted.
The company said that mobilized specialists receive a one-time bonus at the beginning of their service and monthly financial assistance in the amount of their salary. EPAM also noted that out of 70 demobilized employees, 55 have returned to work at the company.
In December of last year , Andriy Tovstik, a mobilized IT worker with 20 years of experience, said that he was looking for a part-time job because he really missed the financial support provided as a military man.
«Friends! It so happened that I have free time now. And since I am no longer on the front lines, I really lack financial support from the state. Therefore, if someone needs a remote admin, devops, infrastructure engineer, etc., I am considering proposals for cooperation,» he wrote.
In January, the Kharkiv IT Cluster estimated the number of reserved IT professionals in Ukraine at 15,000 to 18,000 specialists out of 330,000. This included all types of reservations and criticality, including residency at Diia.City and direct contracts with the Ministry of Defense.
