ZenaTech is a Canadian technology solutions provider specializing in AI drones, enterprise software, and quantum computing.
Today, April 7, 2026, the company announced the creation of a specialized testing center in Ukraine, where it plans to conduct drone testing and combat deployment. This will allow it to confirm the effectiveness of the company's drone platforms directly in active combat zones.
“The planned tests will place ZenaTech’s R&D and product validation process directly at the most active and complex point of combat in the world using drones. This will provide real-world testing of the Interceptor P-1 and other defense systems,” the company said in a statement.
The upcoming test center will complement the company's previously announced plans to launch production in Ukraine , which will allow it to accelerate the development of cost-effective counter-UAV systems for defense customers from among US allies around the world.
ZenaTech is currently working with legal experts to set up and structure its operations in Ukraine, as well as recruiting staff. The company is also coordinating the approvals for the planned tests through the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the State Aviation Service of Ukraine (SASU), taking advantage of the simplified regulatory framework available for defense drone programs.
