As ATB reports on its official Instagram page, customer activity has exceeded the retailer’s forecasts. The company notes that millions of trading cards have already been sold to date.
«We were hoping for your support, but reality surpassed even the boldest predictions. The activity turned out to be so high that it was almost impossible to predict such a scale,» the network’s press service noted.
ATB assured that everyone who pre-ordered additional interactive card almanacs will receive their orders.
«In response to the community’s request, we opened a pre-order for printing an additional print run, which has already exceeded 100,000 copies. This is one of the largest print runs of an art print publication in recent years in Ukraine,» the company’s press service says.
Despite the completion of the main phase of the promotion, the retailer hints at a possible continuation of cooperation with GSC Game World.
«We follow every comment and see your great enthusiasm, so we are actively looking for opportunities to please fans and plan to return with news in the near future,» ATB noted.
The company added that they understand the disappointment of fans who did not have time to collect the collections.
Recall that on April 15, the GSC Game World studio, together with the ATB supermarket chain, launched a collaboration dedicated to the game «STALKER 2: Heart of Chernobyl». Fans of the game can collect thematic collectible cards and insert them into a special almanac-artbook, which turned out to be a rare artifact due to speculators. The promotion was supposed to last until June 9.
The collaboration between GSC and ATB provoked an abnormal excitement on the secondary market. In the first week alone, the number of ads for the sale of limited edition cards and almanacs on the OLX platform increased 50 times, and the prices for individual lots reached tens of thousands of hryvnias .
Previously, a dev.ua journalist joined the hunt for the almanac and told how he managed to get a copy almost in the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone, and also shared life hacks on how to get more diverse collectible cards.
