Hacktivist Lively Deletes White Racist Websites Right From the Stage of a Hacker Conference

A German hacktivist under the pseudonym Martha Ruth remotely took down three white supremacist websites while speaking at a hacker conference. This happened last week, and the resources are still inaccessible. She has published the data online, but not all three yet.
Among the removed sites are WhiteDate, which has been called “Tinder for Nazis,” WhiteChild, a site that offered sperm and egg donations for white supremacists, and WhiteDeal, a kind of TaskRabbit for racists, TechCrunch writes .
The administrator of the three websites confirmed the hack on their social media accounts.
"They are publicly deleting all my websites while the audience rejoices. This is cyberterrorism," an administrator wrote on X on Sunday, promising consequences.
The admin also stated that Ruth deleted their X profile, but it was later restored.
The hacktivist also made public the WhiteDate database, which includes user profiles with names, photos, descriptions, age, location, gender, language, race, and other personal information uploaded by users. Ruth wrote on the site that there are “no emails, passwords, or private conversations at this time.”
According to the hacker, she discovered “horrible cyber hygiene that would make even grandma’s AOL account blush.” Ruth noted that users’ photos contained precise geolocation metadata that “practically gave away home addresses in addition to the lousy selfies.”
“Imagine calling yourself a ‘master race’ but forgetting to secure your own website — maybe try hosting WordPress before you achieve world domination,” Ruth wrote.
According to the leaked data, WhiteDate had over 6,500 users, 86% of whom were men and 14% were women. “A gender ratio that makes Smurf Village look like a feminist utopia,” Ruth wrote.
Ruth infiltrated these resources using artificial intelligence chatbots that bypassed verification processes and gained “verified white” status.
DDoSecrets, a nonprofit organization that preserves data leaks in the public interest, announced that it had obtained “files and user information” from three racist websites. The community, which has dubbed the release “WhiteLeaks,” has not made the data publicly available. Instead, they are encouraging verified journalists and researchers to submit requests for access to the full 100 gigabyte dataset.
