Global SaaS company airSlate with Ukrainian roots has announced the appointment of Claude Alexandre as its new president. The former VP of Adobe will help the technology company scale operations, optimize internal processes, and accelerate the development of artificial intelligence-based products in the next phase of global growth.
Prior to joining airSlate, Claude Alexandre spent over a decade at Adobe, where he held several key leadership roles. His most recent role was as Vice President of Digital Media, B2B Product and Campaign Marketing. In this role, he was responsible for marketing the entire Adobe Digital Media portfolio, including popular products such as Creative Cloud, Express, and Document Cloud. In addition to his work at Adobe, Claude Alexandre serves on the boards of directors and serves as an advisor to several other technology companies.
airSlate co-founder and CEO Vadym Yasinovsky commented on the appointment with humor, making fun of the name of the new president and the popular AI assistant Claude from Anthropic.
«I talk to Claude for hours every day… As an artificial intelligence, he is brilliant, capable of transformation, and always tries to please me. So I am very glad that another Claude has joined our team — a person who is even more creative and will help transform our entire company. Although I suspect that he will not try so hard to please me,» noted Vadym Yasinovsky.
Claude Alexandre himself said that he had dedicated the last two decades to developing tools for businesses, but users still had to work hard to achieve their goals. According to him, in airSlate he found a dream team and a foundation to rethink the interaction with customers from the small and medium business segment with new AI-based solutions, providing not just tools, but holistic results.
airSlate (formerly pdfFiller) is a Ukrainian-founded global SaaS company that develops AI-powered workflow automation products. The company’s brand portfolio includes tools such as SignNow, pdfFiller, DocHub, altaFlow, and US Legal Forms.
In 2022, the startup attracted $51.5 million in investments and officially became the fourth Ukrainian «unicorn» with a valuation of $1.25 billion. Last fall, it was reported that IT company airSlate was laying off about 170 specialists in a number of locations — the USA, Europe, Canada, and Asia, as well as in the Ukrainian office.
Co-founder of Ukrainian «unicorn» airSlate on exiting the Russian market: «As far as I know, everything was closed, but it is quite possible that the closure of some legal structure may be in the process»
