A man was detained in Kyiv for spreading information on social networks about the deployment and work of the capital's air defense.
The Kyiv resident lives on the top floor of a high-rise building, from where he filmed the air defense system on his phone, the SBU writes .
The man published all the videos he shot on Telegram and on his company's Instagram page, where he has over 13,000 subscribers.
"Thus, the enemy could use the "highlighted" geolocations of the Defense Forces to prepare new strikes on Kyiv," the Security Service noted.
An examination initiated by the SBU confirmed the facts of the person involved's illegal activities.
During searches at the residence of a Kyiv resident, a smartphone with evidence of unauthorized filming and dissemination of defense information was discovered.
An investigation is currently underway to establish all the circumstances of the crime. The perpetrator faces up to 8 years in prison.
The Security Service also reminded of the ban on filming and publishing videos and images about the activities of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, as well as the consequences of Russian shelling. The dissemination of such information is considered to be a correction of enemy fire and is a crime punishable by law.
