Ukrainian defense tech company Frontline Robotics has introduced the «Linza 3.0» drone bomber. The developers claim that it is easier to control than the Mavic.
«Linza 3.0» was refined based on feedback from the military; developers improved the tactical range of application, increased payload, and optimized reliability and ease of use.
The drone is equipped with a visual-inertial navigation AI module developed by Frontline Robotics and has day and night versions. The system allows you to maintain a position over the target at an altitude of up to 200 meters, stabilize during landing and plot the route on the map in Loiter mode.
«The media often refer to Linza as the 'Ukrainian Mavic.' This comparison is understandable, but unlike commercial copters, we made a drone specifically for military tasks. From the first day, we understood that the decisive factor would be the connection between drone control and video transmission. Therefore, we started development with these systems,» said Pavlo Kosolapkin, Frontline Robotics Service Center.

The company claims that thanks to its integrated optical navigation system, the drone is easier to control than commercial platforms like the Mavic. It operates stably in urban environments and can be used as a repeater.
«Our goal is to constantly improve our robots in accordance with the needs of the military on the battlefield. Lens 3.0 is the main tool for a variety of tasks: inflicting damage, relay carrier, mining, reconnaissance, logistics, „evacuation“ of drones,» Frontline Robotics says.
It is noted that the company provides a guarantee for 80 flights if used properly.
Lens 3.0 features and capabilities
The Lens 3.0 has a 12-inch body and is capable of carrying up to 4 kg of payload over a distance of up to 15 km and staying in the air for up to 60 minutes. In comparison, the previous version could carry up to 2 kg over a distance of up to 10 km.
The drone integrates a dual-band encrypted communication system for controlling the copter with a PPRCH, invulnerable to EW means in combat conditions, as well as a one-way EW-resistant digital video transmission system.
The daytime version of the Lens 3.0 is equipped with a gyro-stabilized daytime controllable camera with a resolution of 1280×720 and a digital zoom of x6. The night version of the Lens 3.0 has a gyro-stabilized thermal imager with a resolution of 640×512 and a frame rate of 30 Hz.
«Linza 3.0» will be the first drone to be produced at the first Ukrainian-German joint venture Quantum Frontline Industries, the launch of which was announced by Ukrainian Frontline Robotics and German Quantum Systems in December 2025.
