MacPaw is re-opening its MacPaw Space in the Toronto-Kyiv complex. The team is now accepting requests for events and partnership initiatives.
As reported by Scroll.Media and DOU, the official opening of MacPaw Space is scheduled for November in the format of a charity fair.
The space will once again host events focused on innovation, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and sustainability. The team is already open to new collaborations and invites partners to submit inquiries via the company’s website .
Recall that in April 2025, MacPaw Space suspended operations after the building was damaged by a Russian missile strike in December 2024.
«Unfortunately, the Russian shelling in December 2024 damaged the building where MacPaw Space is located, and became an additional challenge and factor for rethinking our approach to physical spaces,» the company’s founder, Alexander Kosovan, wrote at the time.
In December 2024, Russian shelling damaged the building where MacPaw Space is located. In mid-February, MacPaw announced that it had reopened its office after a Russian missile attack that damaged the Toronto-Kyiv business center. But according to Alexander Kosovan, this became an additional challenge and a factor in rethinking the company’s approach to physical spaces.
MacPaw Space opened in 2021 as a platform for events, hackathons, conferences, and project launches. Over four years, more than 400 events have taken place here, attended by about 50,000 people. The space has also become a platform for charitable initiatives — during the events, about 8 million hryvnias were raised to support the Ukrainian military. During the full-scale invasion, MacPaw Space turned into a volunteer hub — here they packed first-aid kits, collected emergency backpacks, and coordinated assistance.
