As the cluster’s press service reports, citing the words of Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov during the Brave1 Advantage event, the total amount of projects amounted to UAH 944 million, of which state co-financing amounted to UAH 620 million.
Under the agreements, manufacturers will produce such types of explosives as TNT, hexogen, TEN, and plasticized C4 analogues.
More than 70 manufacturers of ammunition, explosives, and lethal weapons presented their products at the Brave1 Advantage event.
The Brave1 cluster also presented an updated grant program, which includes 53 new grant priorities. Among them: materials and components for missiles, swarm systems, autonomous drones, radars and navigation, underwater drones and torpedoes, laser weapons and raycotrons, high-precision ammunition, electronic warfare against CABs and missiles, hyperspectral cameras, etc.
For these developments, Ukrainian innovators can receive from UAH 500,000 to UAH 8 million, depending on the level of readiness of the development.
«The battlefield is constantly changing, so we at Brave1 must dynamically adapt our grant programs to the current needs of the Defense Forces,» said Andriy Hrytsenyuk, CEO of the cluster.
The cluster also announced the launch of a new special grant program, integrated with the international BraveTech EU program. Within its framework, you can also receive up to 8 million UAH — regardless of the level of technology readiness.
This program includes over 40 technological priorities, including: high-speed weapons, automatic guidance modules for such weapons, evacuation UAVs, manually launched interceptors, exoskeletons and active protection complexes (APCs), light torpedoes, ammunition and EMI generation complexes, anti-tank ammunition, and hydrogen fuel cells.
The event also presented Brave Prime, a new direction of Brave1, which launches the cluster’s strategic cooperation with leading companies in the world.
The first step in this direction was the signing of agreements at the event with the leaders of the global defense industry, SAAB and Airbus.
«We work a lot with small and medium-sized companies. However, we understand that without primes, without the support of large players in the market, we can lose a lot of knowledge and opportunities for the Ukrainian ecosystem,» noted Iryna Zabolotna, COO of Brave1.
Brave 1 and the Ministry of Defense also announced new grant competitions for 2026, where participants can receive over UAH 100 million for breakthrough technologies. These include UAV-launched missiles, anti-CABs, humanoid robots, Ukrainian radars, air defense missiles, and microwave weapons.
As dev.ua reported, the government has passed a resolution that creates an official framework for working with international partners, Brave International. Thus, Brave1 will now be able to finance defense startups from other countries.
